A quick glance at the window told Kiku that it was almost night. As he sometimes did in the past, he snatched his sketchbook, his copics and sat by the window. He looked out and watched the descent of the sun.
Gold, red and orange blended so well together in that sun. He'd tried to draw it in many occasions, to mimic those colors with his copics. His hand had a mind of its own. He'd already started sketching.
Alas, as he looked down, he realized that he hadn’t drawn the sunset.
Instead, there were a pair of golden eyes.
