Somehow, Megamind never expected that she’d talk so much.
In the stories the kidnapee just cried, or begged for mercy. But this one talked, and worse, Minion hadn’t remembered to bring a gag of any sort. (His cape was off-limits, because there was no point in being a villain if you didn’t do it with style).
“It’ll never work!” she’d shout, in an increasingly obnoxious tone of triumph. “Good always beats evil! Evil is nothing but a hollow, shallow, meaningless existence – it has no choice but to lose!”
Megamind sighed. “Code: remember to bring a gag next time,” he muttered.
