Yours Bitterly
Title: Yours Bitterly
Challenge/Prompt: forgotten
Original Fiction or Fanfiction : Original Fiction
Characters/Pairings: (if applies)Marguerite du Bois, mentioned Elisabeth du Bois, Edward Adair
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: Mine, please don't steal!
Summary: Marguerite feels as though her oldest sister has forgotten her.
“I wonder if she even remembers me,” Marguerite mused to herself.
Since she’d moved her to Tucia to marry Edward, her sister hadn’t written to her once. Of course she knew Elisabeth was busy, what with two small children, but couldn’t she spare a moment for her little sister?
“Why don’t you write her?” Edward asked one night after she complained to him.
Marguerite frowned.
“I don’t want my letters to come off as bitter. Betha and I have a close relationship.”
“You used to,” he corrected her.
Marguerite nodded along with him.
“I suppose you’re right,” she answered sadly.
