Summary: For love may come and tap you on the shoulder some starless night.
Author's Notes: I was inspired again. xD
"I wished for you," she whispers, looking into his eyes. She raises her hand and cups his cheek, traces the lines around his eyes with her thumb. "You never came."
Andrew leans into her hand, the motion causing his hair to fall across his face, closes his eyes, shutting of the expression on Maria's face: disappointment and... something else he can't name.
"I'm here now," he says, keeping his eyes closed, more out of cowardice than anything else. "I'm not going anywhere."
She withdraws her hand. "I stopped wishing for you a long time ago."
"Yeah," he says, looking at her now. "I know."
