Here, but not Here.

Title:  Here, but not Here.
Challenge/Prompt:
#34: Present
Fanfiction [Dollhouse] SPN
Characters/Pairings:  DeWitt; Dean
Rating: PG
Warnings: None that I think should be listed.
Disclaimer: I do not own any part/plot/character/idea from Dollhouse or Supernatural. I am just using them to keep myself entertained.
Summary: DeWitt's POV on a new Doll.
Author's Notes: Last night I started up a random story with this crossover, now I need to get my muse going.  Also first time poster for the group, hope you enjoy!

Here, but not Here.

Papa wasn't like the other dolls, the others were here in body, missing in soul. Papa, or rather, Dean Winchester was combating the procedure, no one knew if it was because, he himself knew something wasn't right or if his mind was just unfolding a mystery. DeWitt knew one thing for sure, Dean was hateable. He wasn't cut out to be an active, he was a man of the present and would fight every step of the way. DeWitt just had a find a way to out smart him, or she'd be out of a business and a promising deal.

Hey. babe! *smothers you* Dude, it's good to see you writing again and nice to see you here, period.

Comments, comments... Well, a few small typos and some minor grammatical errors (don't we suffer the same things all the time, you and I? *sigh*) but all that aside, I was intrigued by teh idea of Dean undergoing the procedure to turn him into an active. I could totally see him fighting the process with everything that makes him a Winchester - but more so just his own character.

We already saw him fight the Djinn and how having his mind messed with nearly tore him apart (though, of course, it was playing with his deepest desires and childhood memories and a parallel universe in which his family is for the most part safe and alive, not fake personas of strangers)

Is this part of a larger story you're working on or considering developing? The idea has good potential. I may have stopped watching Dollhouse (middle of season 1 - I gave up on it - but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy some of it) Will we be seeing more in this vein from you?

Welcome to FD and hope to see more of you, hon! I've missed you.
