Nice imagery in your response. I think you read into it perfectly... I almost called it "Gray" (or something equally boring) but decided on a title with a more direct relation to utter destruction (like what might happen in a war).

Oddly, this piece started out very fluffy and light in the beginning, but it didn't feel correct until it grew into this sort of human devastation piece. I suppose, falling out of love is serious business to me. ;)
