Summary: Trying to find some warmth with a heart going cold.
Author's Notes: A bit of a desolate one, this, but I'm still trying to get used to writing inpromptu fic
The wind was biting and icy through the thin cloak Raven wrapped tighter around his shoulders, one hand pulling the hood further down in an attempt to block some of the gale.
Tears had been long spent since the town at the foot of the mountain, and his heart might well have been just as frozen as the rest of his body. He stumbled and picked himself up, fingers cracked and bleeding.
Only a vague destination in mind, his mind still as numb with shock as not four hours before, he wondered fleetingly if he'd ever truly be warm again.
