Title: A spot of color
Challenge/Prompt: #9 Edge
Original Fiction
Characters/Pairings: Man, woman
Rating: G
Warnings: Er, death?
Disclaimer: Mine.
Summary: Till death.
Author's Notes: Am supposed to be working on something else. |: Will redo this later, I think, flesh it out more.
Not five seconds into the video and he can already tell she won't make it, won't be able to drag herself up and over onto to the roof. It's not so much in how she scrambles for a good hold, how her heels fall as she tries to climb the wall, but how her wedding dress flares out with the wind, catches on her feet, as if already preparing for the long descent.
Long after, he remembers the blinding white of her nail-polish, and how the tips of her fingers turned red from how tight she held onto the ledge.
