Thank you! Those two bits come out of the same continuity. I didn't plan on it when I was writing them, but they made an interesting match because Bashir's memories of the ocean consist of going to the summer residence of the imperial family along with Tiokihawa and Ofika. (Bashir is the stepson of the older emperor, so Tiokihawa is his uncle.)
