Title: Silent Conversations
Challenge/Prompt: #93: Sign
Original Fiction: The world is called Jade.
Characters/Pairings: Esvan, Thomas
Rating:
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: Jade is mine.
Summary: Occasonally princes play chicken.
The young lord raised his hands, palms showing, chest high. I am unarmed but may not stay that way, it meant.
Thomas stepped between Esvan and the challenger. He mirrored the lord's gesture - and then completed it, hands lowering to the hilts of his weapons. Give me an excuse.
Esvan's eyes never left those of his challenger; sitting on a raised dais allowed him to look over his ku'rin's head. The faintest of smiles graced his lips. Your move.
It was a long silent moment before the lord's hands turned palm-in, arms crossing in the sarcophagal position. I yield.
