The field was littered with wounded and exhausted men, being tended and catching their breath.
Taran turned toward the Iyashu with a small smile. "I would think that the demonstration proves sufficient, most holy emperor."
"It does," Esvan agreed. "You have them prepared?" At Taran's nod, he finished, "Bring them then."
The Hierai stepped back, retrieving the reward, and Esvan approached the victor. "Thomas Rathenhope, victor in this challenge and all tests before, accept these the arms and armor of the ku'rin, champion and guardian of the Iyashu and his family."
It'd been resized, but the white armor gleamed brilliantly.
