Tammy spoke sternly, “Come on, guys. This won’t work, unless we’re serious. The spirits know we’re fooling around and won’t make contact.”

Everyone settled down placing their fingertips on the planchette.

“Okay, let’s try again.” Tammy insisted. “We wish to speak with the spirit of Kurt Cobain. If you are here, please respond.”

Jenny whispered, “It doesn’t work that way, Tam. We have to talk to the spirits attached to this house.”

“Shhh…” Tammy hissed, “Kurt, please let us know you’re here.”

Jenny pinched her nose. “Ew, what is that horrible stink?”

Tammy squealed, “It smells like teen spirit!”
