Title: The Open Button
Prompt: #42 Open
Fandom: Real Person Fiction--My Chemical Romance
Characters/Pairings: Gerard/Frank
Rating: G
Disclaimer: I am not Gerard Way, I don't own Gerard Way, I'm not making any money here, this is a complete fiction.
Summary: To click or not to click, that is the question.

-
He shouldn't have done this by email, but it had been 4:00am when Gerard had finally screwed up enough courage. Even Frank would have been pissed at a 4:00am call to ask him on a date.

Now there was a reply. It had taken Gerard only two hours to start hating the innocuous little button that said "Open". Like it was the most innocent thing in the world. Like nothing bad could happen. Like he couldn't be crushed by clicking that button.

Gerard sighed, lit another cigarette and glared at the button.

It was going to be a long afternoon.

Title: Open Door Policy (In Your Dreams)
Prompt: #42 Open
Fandom: Real Person Fiction--Green Day
Pairing: Billie Joe/Mike
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I am not Green Day, I don't own Green Day, I'm making any money here, this is a complete fiction.
Summary: A photo can be an ... inspirational thing.

-
It was a wrinkled old snapshot. Mike didn't remember who had taken it. It showed Billie, shirtless and barefoot, on a motel balcony. The door behind him was ajar, a stark black line against the white-painted wall. The dark doorway was Billie's backdrop, his hair and jeans dark as the shadow. You didn't know where he ended and the dark began. He was smiling lazily, half-awake in the morning light.

Mike had kept the photo for years. And if he laid in bed staring at it, imagining Billie inviting him into that dark room--

Well, nobody else had to know.
