Title: The Jar
Challenge/Prompt: #42 Open
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Characters/Pairings: Katara, Zuko
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: Zuko has trouble opening a jar.
Author's Notes: No idea where the muse has gotten this one. I can only assume since I am sick she wanted something fun to write.

"Open this," he shoved the jar of jam into her hands.
Katara's slender dark brow rose as her blue eyes swept downward at the jar she now held in her small hands.

"I thought you were suppose to be strong," she taunted. Inside the jar the liquid was being manipulated to push upward upon the lid, giving her the help she needed to twist the liquid open. Once she had succeeded, she thrust the jar back into Zuko's hand. "There."

Zuko's eyebrow twitched in irritation. For a moment, he wanted to throttle the waterbender for daring to show him up.

Title: Settling Winter
Challenge/Prompt: #43 Winter
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Characters/Pairings: Yuugi, Anzu, Yuugi/Anzu
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: As winter settles into Domino City, Yuugi is happy to spend time with his wife.
Author's Notes: Just something my muse came up with. I am surprised she found the time to do this since I have been keeping busy with other things.

Settling himself next to her and placing the cup of hot chocolate down in front of her, Yuugi's amethyst eyes fell upon the steam rising from the cup. Outside the winter cold had frosted the glass of the window and snow had begun to blanket the city of Domino.

Since their marriage two years ago, Yuugi and Anzu would often settle themselves upon the couch with a cup of hot chocolate watching the first signs of winter set in. There were no dueling tournaments to prepare for but Yuugi didn't care. He would rather spend his time with his wife.

Title: Homecoming
Challenge/Prompt: #44 Home
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Characters/Pairings: Yuugi, Anzu, Yuugi/Anzu
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: Yuugi returns home.
Author's Notes: Not entirely fond of this one but it will do for the time being. I have been trying to get my muse in the writing mood again. We have some stories to finish.

The moment she saw the cab pull up to the front of the house, Anzu removed the apron from around her waist, tossed it down onto the dining table, and rushed towards the front door. It had been a month since her husband had left for several special dueling appearances courtesy of Kaiba’s insistence.

Anzu had opted to remain behind, preferring the quiet home they had to that of the loud crowds that would gather and cheer for the duelists.

“Yuugi!” She cried out upon opening the door and throwing her arms around his neck. “Welcome home! I missed you!”

Title: Traditions
Challenge/Prompt: #45 Custom
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Characters/Pairings: Zuko/Katara
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: There are two customs - the Fire Nation's and the Water Tribe's.
Author's Notes: Nothing at this time.

In the Fire Nation, it is custom that a young man proves his worth to the family of his intended. Mostly this was to insure that the young man had the ability to protect his young bride from any enemy that sought them out.

In the Water Nations, it is custom that the bride-to-be was presented with a beautifully made choker with a pendant made from the hands of her would-be groom. Oftentimes, the necklace came handed down from the young man’s family especially in the more wealthy social classes of the Northern tribe.

Zuko does both for Katara’s family.

Title: Breakout
Challenge/Prompt: #46 Mistake
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Characters/Pairings: Katara, Sokka
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: It was a mistake rescuing her but it was a mistake they were willing to make.
Author's Notes: My muse seems to be working again. So another prompt has been taken care of. Now if only I could get her to finish the others that we still have left.

“Coming here was a mistake,” Katara replied turning her blue eyes towards her companions. “You don’t understand what Zuko is capable of if he catches us.”

Katara turned away and looked once more towards the window of her once prison. She couldn’t understand why the gang had gone all of their way to save her but nevertheless she was grateful.

“Taking you from us will be his mistake,” Sokka remarked narrowing his blue eyes at the thought of the firebending prince. “He will pay for it.”

It was still a mistake and the price would be too high to pay.

Title: Hellhound
Challenge/Prompt: #47 Hallow
Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Original
Characters/Pairings: None
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: All mine.
Summary: A large dog is seen stalking the hallowed grounds of a cemetery.
Author's Notes: This comes from something that had been playing around in my head after we received our quest for a hellhound over on Magistream. I wish I could have added more but the drabble community only allows 100 words. xD

Stepping upon the hallowed grounds of the cemetery, the young woman pushed back the hood of her purple velvet cloaked and allowed her amethyst gaze to sweep across the mist-covered stones as if searching for something within. It wasn't long before she caught sight of a large dark figure trotting towards her. Tiny flames dancing upon each of the four paws of the large dog.

"Omen!" She hissed at the hellhound hands upon her hips. "You know better than to come here! These are hallowed grounds and you have already caused talk! They are blaming you for several deaths already!"
