The lovers hold hands and wade in.

They drink deep: low bass, drums underwater. Fingertip to fingertip, arms forming an arch, they swim to the centre, blacklit and echo heavy.

Dancers revolve around the lovers. Eyes snap and dresses shimmy, heels click and hands wander. Lips to fingertips, tongues to salty skin.

At the centre, the lovers raise intertwined hands, palms opening like a flower.  They kiss, and the flower ignites.

The dancers pause, eyes fluttering, toes curling, teeth weaving skid marks on shoulders and throats, breaths drawn in in in...
