Summary: Come to kill the king in 'is castle?
Author's Notes: I been watching The Shadow Line and Red Riding and playing Splinter Cell Conviction and this is sorta what happens when you let this stuff nest in your head.

The fool downs whiskey and bares his teeth. "So he's gonna come knockin' on me door, is he? Come to kill the king in 'is castle? Fuckin' cheek."
The shadow by the window cradles a large ugly handgun and gestures at his radio.
"Check in," she says, screwing silencer to barrel.
"Now?"
"Now."
"Perimeter 1-2-5, call in," he barks, "Call in, ye fuckers,"
"Nothing?"
"Nawt..."
"It's okay," she says, finger to trigger, bullet to brain, loud cough and bloody red flower to wall.
"Okay," she says, finger to trigger, smile to lips, waiting for a fly to come knocking.
