Summary: He's always there in a pinch.
She’s already resigned to her fate when her back hits something solid. Sheena blinks, disoriented as she realizes something is holding her and she’s lurching back towards the pinpoint of light she fell from.
They collapse onto the ground, and Sheena gasps for the air she lost in the freefall. An image blurs into focus: crimson hair; ice eyes; terror.
“Sheena!” He shakes her desperately.
She swallows. “Change of heart?”
Something chokes in Zelos’ throat, and he pulls her into a fierce hug, hands shaking slightly against the back of her head. Sheena smiles weakly into his neck.
“Stupid Chosen.”
