Title: Smile
Challenge/Prompt: #100 Special
Original Fiction: Circle never ends
Characters/Pairings: Freya and Nick
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: Mine
Summary: There are simple things in life that can make one happy.
Author's Notes:

There is an honest happy smile on his face when she hands him his drink.
“Hmm. Thank you darling.”
She returns his smile and sets herself right next to him on the couch.
“You mentioned it, last time, that is was ages ago and that you wanted it.”
Nodding he takes a sip before swinging his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close against his side, kissing her gently.
It was nothing special, buying him the special kind of orange juice he wanted. And yet seeing that childish happy look on her boyfriend’s face, kind of made it special indeed.

Title: First Smile
Challenge/Prompt: #100 Special
Original Fiction
Characters/Pairings: John
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: Mine
Summary: In comparison to Ted, John smiles all the time.
Author's Notes: Long time no see guys! :D Anyway, this is one of the most important moments in the main story (which is being written from Ted's point of view), and I just wanted to write a little of what it was like for John.

It's a small thing, really, at least proportionally, and the lack of surprise on August's face clearly says that it's not a big deal.

But John's been working for (and watching) August for the better part of a human decade, and this is the first time he's seen Ted smile, even if that smile is a tiny, small thing. Barely a quirk of the lips. Barely a twitch.

It's directed at August, of course, like Ted's attention is most of the time, but that doesn't stop John from coveting it, from yearning, from going to sleep at night and dreaming about it.
